There are about 40 groups/societies/charities represented at the Fair. There will be lots of stalls arranged over several rooms/locations – make sure you visit them all.

Michelle Clark - Founder of Dogs on The Streets


Michelle founded the multi award-winning charity, Dogs on the Streets, which works with rough sleepers and their dogs.  Michelle is well-known for her outreach, her sanctuary and for filling the gaps left by other organisations.

Title:  Save The Asian Elephants - A big success for all animals abused in global tourism, and the challenges ahead.

Duncan McNair - Founder and CEO of Save The Asian Elephants


Duncan is CEO of Save The Asian Elephants (STAE). He has been named Legal Hero of the Year 2024 by the Law Society for his ground breaking animal protection work.  He is Co-ordinator of the Low-Welfare Coalition of animal protection charities globally and will discuss the challenges posed in ensuring implementation of the major law STAE has brought about for animals.

Title:  The Forgotten Victims of War

David Hill - Nowzad


Nowzad works with animals in war zones. In this presentation, David will be telling us about Nowzad’s work in Ukraine and will be talking about the ambulance that Nowzad is now refurbishing so it can be used as a mobile veterinary clinic in Ukraine.

Title:  Two years saving Britain’s wildlife: Lessons from the front line and what you can do.

Ana Lapaz-Mendez - Head Vet and Founder - Pumpkin’s Wildlife Hospital, Rickmansworth


This very busy wildlife hospital which was founded by vet Ana Lapaz-Mendez has now been open two years. Staffed by a team of devoted volunteers, they have, so far, treated around 1000 patients each year since opening.

Title:  Learning from the care of sensitive orphan black-shanked douc rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in Vietnam: The rapid transition from hand-rearing, creche life to successful wild release.

Dr Marina Kenyon - CEO of the Endangered Asian Species Trust (EAST)


Marina will be talking about her conservation work with endangered primates in Vietnam.  Marina’s talk will be taking the place of the talk which was due to be given by Dr Alison Cronin MBE who, we are very sorry to say, due to personal circumstances, is no longer able to be at the Fair.  Many visitors will be familiar with Marina’s work as she has frequently appeared on television with Alison.


Marina’s talk will be prefaced by a short video from Alison, recorded specifically for the Ealing Animals Fair.
